    Says fitness levels have improved.

Also tactically on first impressions Malky showing to be a improvement on Jones. Midfield packed on Sunday with the 2nd striker dropping back. Use of subs 91st minute winner.

Malky given time will be the man to lead us and establish us in the top flight.

This season will probably be too early ......but we will get there.

Id like to think so Sparkey but Malky has almost had to totally rebuild.

We need pace out wide and time for the team to gel properly.

Hopefully Bellamy will come in. Think that will give us a shot at the play offs.

Think we will come in around 8th. But that will be a good achievement.

Could change my mind when the transfer window closes and also if Malky gets in some decent premier loans and not the likes of JET and JLloyd Samuel.

I know MM has rebuilt almost entirely, which was a worry for me. I've said before that he got people early so had a good pre-season together. Still some way to go but better than signing players laste in the day. The other thing that may work in our favour is the fact that with the notable exception of one or two clubs there hasn't been a lot of strengthening elsewhere. Indeed, quite a few clubs have lost their prime assets. Unless there is a lot of late activity or a splurge of loanees (we know all about that), we'll have fare better than most.

I really am being nostalgic today; Before tinternet and we would all discuss football in the pub the main question at this point of the season would be whether we could avoid relegation or not.

This club has come a long, long way in the last few years and good times are here; it may not be this seasn but promotion will come.
