Tried to put it to the back of the head. My brother who is deaf said a wee while ago that his Sinn Fein vote was gone. Never again. Myself, brother, Ma, Da and 3 uncles shall be avoiding election centres from here on in. Loads of others have said the same. In one stroke Marty (who was my favorite btw) has undone all the sacrifices from Sands to the Bloddy Sunday dead.

Welcome to Free State lickspitle country Martin <ok>

It is just a piece of theatre imo. It means nothing other than to appeal to the Free state electorate.

Guys like Pearce Doherty will drive this thing forward. They are the future.

No where, in a voting sense.See years of support for summer wreck down. Probably intensify attacks on PSNI. Very surprised if there isn't a dead one by the end of the summer.

Sinn Fein's official policy is to try win over Unionism, it's been their outspoken official policy from quite early in the 1980's actually. It's a joke of a policy when their political philosophy and indeed broadcasts continue to be strewn with the likes of the Irish language as well as green, white and gold imagery. (I love the Irish language btw, I spent many years of my life striving to learn the language and spent many more contriving to dis-learn it through lack of practice - I just don't believe its use will ever be any good at persuading British Irish people to convert to Republicanism.) An Ireland of equals, means equality for Unionism - including symbolism and nationality.

I must say I think I'm even more disenfranchised with politics than your goodself Ciaran - not only do I have homely representatives who continue to arse about with impractical tribalism - but their most potent emerging threat comes from others, like yourself, who are more deep in such bawbaggery.

Live together or die together, like most brainwashed morons you seem to prefer the 2nd option, I suggest you go to the middle east and find out what living under tyranny is actually like, you certainly won't get free health care, the dole or a say in how things are run.

Explain to me how you got from your post to my post?

I'll be waiting. And explain it right and not the usual Daily Mail type stuff.
