Some key points.... He said 2nd half was much much better and York didnt step back, we forced them back which is what he wanted from the start. MM didnt know Kenneth scored the own goal and asked for clarification if that is what happened. Both subs at half time went off due to injury not tactical. Thats Woodards and Lund. MM said he felt humilated at half time. He said there was no team work and once players cross that line its down to them. MM was asked does the result make him want to work harder to put smiles on the fans face. MM refused to answer saying it was a stupid question.
to me.... sounded like we improved slightly 2nd half but didnt sound like we played that well the 2nd half. not sure we pushed york back. they were winning 4-1 and didnt need to go forward. they already had the game won and just needed to do teh basics right and york did that. how the hell did MM not know kenneth scored an own goal????? great, more blooming injuries. sounds like passing the buck. its his players, his tactics and formations and him who decides to play players out of position. it was a stupid question but its a question to help MM try and say something positive to send a message to the fans. he didnt take it and made himself sound like a beaten man and someone who dont care about the fans. that was my take.
