Looking forward to watching the lad as there is a good chance he could be lining up in the red and white stripes come August.

The little I have seen of the lad I have been impressed and think he would be a good option to have down the right and with his ability to play the free role or on the left then even better!

Hope Jimmy Mc gets on at some point, going to be a really good game this

    Its McGeady poolie. Lol

I hope so as I rate this lad highly. He will be the star man for the Irish imo and the key to them winning or getting anything here tonight.

He could attract bigger fish than us with a good performance though. Home James Mac does well though (given the chance).

See we have been linked with Ireland's left back, I hope we dnt get him he's crap not just on this performance but also at wolves all season.

Don't think I want us to get McGeady, much rather have any of Johnson, Moses, Hoilett or N'Zogbia. He is to much of slowing the play down then knocking it to the side a couple of yards. Rather have any of the others who run and run at the defence with pace

He's all right footed, they need to stick him on the right.

    Bring on mclean.

not surprised with no McClean, Trapatoni seems to be like Capello and is a really stubborn manager.

Trap said McClean would struggle to get in the squad because the players that got them through qualification deserved to be in the squad and even though he has brought him it seems like he will go with the players that got him through

Like Capello at Madrid when he wouldn't bring Beckham into the first team because he had already agreed to sign for LA Glaaxy

I just hope McClean gets a chance but it seems once these Italians get idea's into there head its hard to convice them otherwise.

To bring west broms 5th choice striker on to play left wing ahead of McClean is laughable.

To be honest. I don't know why he didnt start with long and Walters. Ireland were much better in those last 10 mins than they were all night. Andrews was decent, duff wasn't bad. But Ireland needed an outlet. Ireland needed McClean

If that is the sum total of McGeadys game we would be better off without him did nothing at all in the first half or second for that matter. Not sure how much he is available for (seen 10mil on here) but, we can do better going on that game maybe he had an off game or maybe he just is that ****e. Two games to go for him at least against Spain and Italy so not holding out much hope for him.

McGeady is the most overrated player in a long while for me. He was ****e tonight.

I know Celtic robbed the eyes out of the sockets of the Russians but Christ Almighty, if they make a profit on him it will be the biggest rip off since we skinned the Celts for £1.3m for that plum Murphy.

In fact Trappatoni should have took him instead.

Half decent player, £3m at most.

I'd take Moses over McGeady any day.

Still think the lad would be a good signing for us and last night isn't vital.

The Irish team were just beaten by a better team and they all played poorly.

If Wellbeck has a poor game tonight, does that make him ****e as well?

McGeady is a canny player imo.
