It has come out in the press he is considering his options.

It's a tough one. I'd like him to stay because he scores goals - but then again he cost us nothing and he isn't getting any younger.

There are rumours he hasn't been getting the games because he has already expressed his wish to leave.

Thoughts? Replacing him will cost money.

I'm pretty sure his lack of games probably came before him expressing a desire to leave to be honest or we would have flogged him in January. I couldn't get my head round why after ending last season so well that he hasn't had more games this season. If he wants regular games and feels he has to leave to get them then so be it, he isn't a long term solution to our problems anyway but I am convinced we'd have a higher goals tally for the season if he'd played more this year <ok> Oh well...

I think he's just one of those players who's time has come to move on. We can replace him with a younger player on less wages and he can go back to Argentina, or another warm country, and finish his footballing career in an enviroment that he's comfortable in.

Replace him with a younger model who will play more games.

At the end of last season the BBC announced he was going back to Argentine, but it never happened.

Would anybody be really that bothered if he does go?

If not then it shows that it is time liverpool took that decision for him.
