Good player, but if someone skins him, he wont have any of it and will take them down, whether its in the box or not.
Basically can make real rash tackles out of nowhere that could cost us. Quite consistent and cant see us getting better any time soon.

On another point, think the chances that fell to Schlupp would have been finished by a Beckford type character, not saying this because he scored twice, but Schlupp was taking too many touches when a few first time shots were more necessary.

Schlupp's getting there. You have to remember he's got so little experience, and when you throw in the hundreds of positions he's had to play you can understand why his overall forward play isn't quite there yet.

I always find this hard to discuss. For me, the captain always picks itself as it is the player who everyone always listens to and leads naturally on the training ground. But potentially that could be James yes.

Think SAF can take a lot of the credit for his quality - has been reckoned to be a great prospect by the mancs, hence the buy back clause.

I might be wrong. But i'm pretty sure that SAF does this with every academy player they sell to the lower leagues.

He does. Ritchie De Laet might not though as he was at the next stage of his career compared to where Danny Drinkwater and Matty James where when they left

..was similar - we managed to get a 'last refusal' clause in that stipulated that all clubs in the Premier League, Football, laegue, Conference, Scottish, Welsh, Irish and One-legged women teams in the Evans' sponsored 'Larger Ladies' lower division, had to have refused first before we could even be considered ...
