Well it be harder to get a Reading player than any other championship team, they are properly run, have little or no debt, and have no real need to sell unless a clause in the contract, still you never know.

Exactly the type of central defender we need by the side of Ashley Williams in the PL.

Am sure he would fit into the team very well so fingers crossed we get him - and hope the Danny Graham deal aint scuppered at the last minute - at least the bid has been accepted and it has been agreed we can talk to him about a move.

who did he play for before Reading? I hope everyone isn't basing their opinion on the lad because of the goal he scored against us. Otherwise I can't say I know a huge deal about him.

I read somewhere that QPR were interested in Marco Materazzi. How would you guys feel say if we were interested in bringing an older player who in his prime was top class!

Would rather a hungry younger player like Mills rather than filling the purse of an older player who may not neccisarily want to learn new tricks and get stuck in the trenches when times get tough

    A medium aged
Premier League CB , who has been held back by blind managers with to much money . Daniel Agger comes to mind but there are lots that just want to play but get little chance , but Agger does have a bit of time in the Premier . Mills sound good though !!!

I remember him when he was on loan from Man City to Doncaster, they later signed him, looked a decent young defender with bags of potential. Seems to be delivering his early promise, hopefully he'll continue to improve.

Seems a tossup between him and Jack Hobbs for me. I´d sign whoever we can get for less, very similasr players from what I´ve seen.

Who else think that with Ash and Mills there isn't going to be much room for Tate and Monk....

LB urgently needed as I think young Taylor could will be on his way and I'm pretty sure, as muck as it pains me Tate won't be playing a great deal in the BPL

Mills is quality not for just scoring against us.
I believe we tried to sign him before he went to Reading in the traitors time in charge.

To me, a footballing centre half with that vital premiership experience (who's been relegated with Birmingham) and who'd surely be worth a bid is Liam Ridgewell
