Was quite excited when this guy signed, seemed to have a bit of pedigree and something to prove.

Clearly McCoist doesn't fancy him, but he should be able to offer something more in an attacking sense then the midfield combination of Bartley, Jig and Edu?

Naismith is a huge miss and it's clear to see that if Davis is off form we offer little support to Jelavic. Happy to see Bendiksen get his chance, but I wonder if any other Gers fans would like to see McKay get a run in the team. Can't judge him on a couple of sub appearances or a friendly.

have seen quite a bit of him in the a league and for the national team (refuse to use the stupid ****ing name them have for themselves). when you signed him i thought he would do alright but would not set the heather alight, suprised at how little game time he has been given tho.

    what has happened to ortiz?

It seems odd that they pursue guys like McKay and Kerkar for ages then seem reluctant to play them when they finally sign.

To be honest, the games I saw him play for Brisbane, he looked like a very similar player to the likes of Edu, McCulloch, etc. A bit more ability on the ball, but he's definitely an "engine room" kind of player if you know what I mean. Considering Edu is playing not bad now from what I hear, I would have thought the likes of Bendiksen would be more needed to replace the creativity lost by Naismaith and Aluko...
