Saints announced the ticket prices for next season today. Seems to have gone unnoticed, so thought I best post this up. The categorisation is as follows. CATEGORY A: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham. CATEGORY B: Cardiff, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham. CATEGORY C: Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Hull, Norwich, Stoke, Swansea, West Brom. ALL PRICES HERE: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/let-the-games-begin-905295.aspx DTLW
But isn't Cardiff on boxing day away? I'd have thought Villa be higher than Fulham as well. Could someone post actual prices for me please as can't access site.
Maybe to get tickets for united at home (last game) you will need tickets from the Everton and Cardiff game? It's a good way to get people to pay it.
Or Cardiff have more fans so they can charge them more than Swansea etc. Fulham fans will pay more than Villa fans will etc. If they can charge more for the away fans then they go in CAT (X) If they can't they go in CAT (Y). And Saints fans have to pay whatever the price is for whatever draw the game has on away fans?
Villa had a poor season but surprised a club of that size is Cat C. WBA charge a low price for our tickets(well they did last season). So we could be returning the favor somewhat.
It can only really reflect what they expect the level of demand to be. So someone obviously thinks more people will want to watch us play Cardiff than Swansea, which strikes me as strange but what other reason can there be? The away allocation will be the same for every team so that can't be the difference.
I'm starting to worry about ManU on the last day of the season...be annoying if they stop us getting our Champions League place.
