It's absolutely pissing down and has been since Sunday night, only a few hours restbite this morning and the rain is much worse than the Reading fixture imo, could this game be in doubt I wonder?

Don't think so. Just had a live link to a reporter on SSN outside the ground and no mention of that possibility. Guess they've given the drains a good clean out ;)
Pitch will probably cut up so it could be a bit of a lottery tonight

Bloody hell man I thought it was off there!! It ain't been anywhere near as bad as reading. That was probably the same amount in 4 hours as we've had over 2 days.

It's absolutely lashing down in Southwick marcus, the volume of rain we've had since Sunday is staggering, it only let up for me to get to work for 3 hours today

Should be fine from now on MO, after the reading game they found that the drainage wasn't working properly as it had all been blocked. Club say they have removed it all and we should be fine from now on <ok>

Match off???...........loose lips costs supporters................and you wonder how rumours start.

We had a deluge before the Reading game and exposed the fact some of the drainage channels were blocked following pitch being re-turfed.

Drainage channels mechanically scoured and now clear.

Remember, the playing surface is some 30 feet below ground level.

he did say Match Off??? the ? means its a question not a statement of truth.

maybe its just me but not for 1 minute did i think it was off, but he was asking if it may have been off, but saying that, his thread title could have been better, "is the match off?" or similar.

ps: hope you can tell i am bored out my head.
