Not sure how smug was getting back to Surrey but I assume it was the way he got to the match.. I hope we aren't reading tomorrow 'M1 closed as Southampton fans littering it after crazy man goes ballistic' ha! Hats off to the lad today, absolutely Safc daft and a crazy but true man.. I admire ya Nev, get home safe..
Had a drink with him before the game and he said they were a bunch of unsociable tossers on his coach. From the ones I came across it seems that the rest were the same..
Just listening to the ****e they were singing in the ground mate..If I wasn't with my son I would have been tempted to walk round and introduce myself to one or two of them.
Oh they have gobs but not confrontation, like most southerners have, they know they can get away with it inside a stadium. Any trouble outside? I can't see our lot putting up with soft southern ****e chants in their girly accents?
Me and the little brother (9) walked past their turnstile after the game. Few of the younger lads were shouting and singing at the Sunderland fans. Wouldn't be surprised if it got s bit heated with some people.
Cheers Joe, if I had any sense of humility I'd be embarrassed by your comments .......... .......... obviously that's not the case As it happens the journey back was horrendous, like I was on the bus for the winners of the '2015 most boring people in Hampshire' competition. The 2 cretins behind me were lads in their twenties who were doing imitations of their grandads. You have to imagine this conversation over a period of 7 hours with slow drawling accents and 3 second gaps between the pair's responses. "So I told him I was going to the Sunderland match." "Oh did you?" "And do you know what he said?" "No, what did he say?" "He said, 'oh are you' .......... then do you know what he said when I asked him if he was going?" "No, what did he say?" "Well, he turned round and told me he wasn't going." "And what did you say when he said that?" "I said 'oh'" "And did you ask him why he wasn't going?" "No I didn't think to ask him that, I'll ask him when I see him in the week." "Well let me know why he didn't come." "Yeah I'll ask him and let you know." FFS it was like Chinese water torture. Anyway mate, thanks for the message, I'm just one of many who trudge around the country. All the lads I've met off here have been great. On the basis of yesterday the supporters put more effort in than the supporters
I bloody hate boring people as much as the people who drive slow up here and brake all the time on the A6 its a straight road and you can see for 2 miles you blind old tw at.
I've generally found Saints fans to be OK TBH. Got a bit snotty when Le Tosser was doing his thing, but the last time I went down there they were good crack in the pub. Mind you, that was a while back. 3-1 defeat with our goal coming from Tommy Hauser
