Kettering Town face a winding up order next week.

To try to raise funds Leicester have agreed to play a friendly.

The venue is Nene Park Irthlingborough K.O. 7:45p.m.

The admission price is a donation to the supporters trust.

If you can get there I'm sure your donations would be welcome. Probably a mixture of fringe/players coming back injury/reserves/academy players/Matt Mills? but the cause is worthwhile.

This would be the perfect opportunity for im to get some fitness and test his new muscles. Perhaps he is close but maybe hes not even done any training yet.

Vassell isnt a winger. He is crap on the wing. Everyone was tearing into him last season. He doesnt score enough goals to be a striker either

I would let him go in the summer as he doesnt offer enough in terms of goals.

I have to agree - Svens purchase! Does not have the legs for the wings and his conversion rate up front started to make me think we made a mistake by letting Kermit the Frog go! i dont think we shall see him in a LCFC shirt again

He cant cross, doesnt score goals.

He is skillful, Quick, holds the ball up well and works hard

But i dont think he has enough about him for us to keep him. There is better players out there, just look at Ben Marshall compared to Vassell

Good squad player and a very good influence on the dressing room.

What does Vassell offer us what Jeff Schlupp doesnt. Vassell has more experience but Schlupp will score us more goals.

Plus every game Schlupp plays he gets better while after a serious injury at Vassells age he might be on the decline now. Vassells game is built on pace and with a knee injury who knows if he will still have the same amount of pace.

Plus with Waghorn back soon i really dont see how Vassell will get a game ahead of Beckford, Nugent, Schlupp and Waghorn.

But Vassell is a better option then Steve Howard

actually we are forgetting up top vassell looked good but we always had a go as he was out of position.

However, in a 4-2-3-1 i think out right he could be a force. Not ideal- but who else? We have2 players for 2 positions, thats it- marshall and dyer. Put nugent up top and dyer/marshall on one with the other subbed off and only really vassell can fill that wing...

The experience. I bet Schlupp, Hopper, Marshall ect all look up to him.

He has a half decent record at international level many moons ago but hasnt done much since or before. When he was playing for England the only decent striker England had was Michael Owen. He is just like Emile Heskey. Will never score you enough goals. I think we could find better players then him out there

But is he going to take Beckford or Nugent's place. I dont think he will because he doesnt score enough goals

Schlupp knows where the goal is and so does Waghorn aswell. Vassell doesnt
