Was last Saturday a false dawn? Did we catch 'Boro at the right time? Will we be deeper in the brown stuff by 5 o'clock?

3 yesses from me, and I'll be listening out for the Roland songs.

I'm in a bullish mood - as I always am when heading to Sheffield and think we will get a result. I'm avoiding a pre match bet to avoid jinxing anything, but my heart says 1-2 to us.

Results at the moment are going against us, not that we have any hope of staying up anyway

Was last week a false dawn? Yes it was.

Rotherham got Warnock, we got Riga.

    Do the maths <cheers>

Just seen the Ba OG.... it's going a good 6 yards wide when he sticks a leg out... Pope rightly goes mental at him.

Riga- "Sometimes you have good ideas but on the pitch it can be different, because it's down to the players".

So, last week it was the fans' fault, this week it's the players' fault.

My view from the home stand (don't judge me), but what a pile of **** we put out.

Pissed off I even thought we could win. Pissed off I now have to put up with the crap I'm being served.

Thankfully I have no more commitments for the season. See you next season (maybe).

half of me wants the club to go into administration, right now. take a points deduction, go down, but start with a clean slate and most importantly no douche virus or 'mare at the club.

How on earth can you win a Championship game, away from home, against a Top 6 side, with a "forward line" of Reza and Harriott?

    FFS <doh>

Riga made it worse but justifying Reza's selection by saying he played well against Sheff Wed last season - has anyone got Derek Hales' phone number in that case, because he used to play well for us.

Okay, most of us thought this would be a tough match - we've already mucked up the easier ones. But not to have a shot on target in 90 minutes is pathetic. Had we got more points in the home matches against Bristol and MKD, a point today would have been okay. But we chose to try and get a 0-0 against the Dons, so we don't have room for performances like today. Following updates on this one, it sounds like another one that could be levelled dirctly at Riga. Little Chef made changes at half time and the pressure built and built without us making a change until too late. And this myopia with misfiring strikers? Mak has a couple of stinkers, and does'nt get subbed until way too late. Yesterday, Reza had the same thing.. I'm not going to attack the player, everyone has bad games. When they are playing badly, the manager needs to make a change.
The last time Riga was in charge, the differences he seemed t make were basic stuff like playing players in their correct positions, and getting a team that played for the team. This time, the over late and bizarre changes, plus odd line ups, suggest someone who has spent too long with Karel Fraeye. It's a good thing each managerial change is an improvement on the last, or we would be in serious trouble.

Another gem from Riga- "We know we needed to keep a clean sheet to have any hope of getting a point". Translates as we went up there to get a 0-0, and he knew we wouldn't get a shot on target.

Or before the game- "We can't let Sheffield get into the game because then it could be difficult"

Sounds like he's given up. Not long ago he said the reason he kept us up last time was because of his positivity!
