Morning all, I was a regular poster on 606 and have been viewing the threads on this new site for a while so thought it was time i started speaking (well typing!). As the title suggests, Marvin Morgan, worth a punt i think. Strong and very quick with good finishing, I believe he has been released by Aldershot after a bust up with their fans over twitter. Spent the second half of last season on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge and i guess coming from Aldershot that his wages would not be unreasonable, i seem to remember us being linked with him last summer aswell.
Aldershot must have a pretty low wage budget so could well be worth a punt if he's on hess' agenda? Hopefully will see some new faces coming in soon though ..
dont remember him having a great season last year but could well be worth a punt if we can get him on the cheap, wouldnt be the worst option to have on the bench if he doesnt quite make the grade
Not that this can be a comparitive onhow good a player is, but I was destroyed by him on Fifa the other day! Still got the Gills promoted to the Championship now though, talk t me for tips Hess!
On football manager febian brandy pretty much guarantees 40+ goals for gillz in league two, maybe computer games aren't that realistic? Would like to see some movement preferably in to gillz in the next week though i'm getting bored with how quiet it's been!
If anyone can find him get Rene Howe. He's faster than Bayo, better in the air and his first touch is good too.
I've just seen that Smalley has signed for Oxford, this is getting ridiculous. Surely with essentially 3 of our 5 best players leaving already we would have enough available cash to compete with Oxford on the recruiting front. I appreciate that times are hard and we don't want to get into trouble but we have lost the core of our team and are showing absolutely no ambition in replacing them.
