We all know what a difference MON has made since his arrival, but the worrying stat at the moment is 4 points from the last 15 available and a performance tonight that was as bad as anything we saw under our previous boss. Dosn't matter that we had a game at weekend and they didn't, not 1 shot on target in 90 mins , only 2 shots in the entire game .2shots off target in 90 minsit really is unbelievable . I would love MON to explain but we know he will protect his players, so can anyone explain to me why tonight happened (being tired is not an excuse, so please don't use it )
1) Blackburn are a decent side who were under performing 2) Sometimes teams have off days, this was one of them for you 3) Some players clearly have their eyes on a potential semi final place and a Wembley appearance 4) Larsson and others look tired. Long season full of trials and tribulations can mentally and physically wear a team out How is that for a start?
At Villa MON was always ****e in March must be that. Honestly though, I have no idea. Been a bit slack recently, but we haven't had the easiest of games tbh. I wasn't expecting a win tonight, but the performance was appalling
The thing is shiney his hands are tied where the forwards are concerned. Couldn't fault Fraizer's effort but his passing was dire tonight. Hopefully a one off for the youngster. Ji should have done better with McCleans pinged in cross, don't know whether it bobbled as it arrived. But he should still have buried it. I just don't understand Bendtners lack of effort to get on the end of the crosses. Even the commentator said it "Good lay off by Bendtner, but why isn't he now making an effort to get in and attack the goal?"
