Martin Peters our greatest ever signing IMO. What a player, Bill Nicholson thought he was finished when John Bond snapped him up for, I believe, 40K ! He went on to play for City for 6 years, considerably longer than he did for Spurs ! I remember vividly his testimonial at Carrow Road when over 20K turned up to watch the 1966 England World Cup winning side take on City.
