Martin Allen has been sacked by Notts County now. I've got to admit I've not paid much attention to his spending there, but he rescued them from relegation last season despite only joining them in April, and this season he's made them a safe midtable side, so it seems a bit harsh to be sacking him now when he seems to be taking them forwards. Managerial silly season continuing?
