I know I should'nt dwell on the past but after yesterdays performance off him it makes me wonder what could've been last season if he had'nt got injured, then we would have never seen by byw bywa........I cant even bring myself to write his name.

who watchtheballfly-bywater? He was just as handy as Dimi Can'tstopalotofshots..

I'm told yesterday that there was a sniper at Upton Park yesterday aiming for Miller, but Marshall dived and plucked the bullet out of the air too.. <laugh> ;) Great performance by the big man..

I think he was another of those dropped by DJ and not given his "second chance" like a few others DJ fell out with. Not digging on DJ at all there, but that was one of his flaws that frustrated me at times.

I personally liked Marshall a little more than Heats.. Heats is the better all round 'keeper (commanding his box, coming off line etc..) as Marshy was/is guilty of flapping at times but I think Marshy is by far the better acrobatically and at shot-stopping. Early days yet, but hopefully this has given him the boost in the arm he lacked under DJ last season. Still it's good to have 2 solid keepers in our ranks.

Marshall was excellent yesterday. He even manage to turn defence into attack with one long, quick clearance yesterday. Never seen him do that before.

I think he benefits from having 2 big centrebacks in front of him as they can often save him the decision of whether to come off his line or not. I thought Gezza was immense yesterday as well. Should never have been booked.
