According to reports in Germany, he's joining Chelsea for £8 million pounds this summer, i've heard alot about him but i've never seen him play, also he's been linked with us a couple of times.

    is he good ?

Confirmed by Chelsea that an agreement has been made.

Have a look on Youtube Matth, he's decent.

Marin looked very promising early in his career, but he really doesn't seem to have progressed too much in the past few years, he's a decent player but nothing more in my opinion, probably worth what they are rumored to be paying though.

£8m? Shit. He's a good player. Worth a lot more than that, in my opinion.
The only problem for them is that he won't add any width to their side. He reminds me of Modric when he used to play off the left wing.
Good replacement for Malouda, I'd have thought.

    Very annoying.

Football manager is **** for rating players. I should know, ive been playing it since it was called champ manager and its always wrong at predicting who will become big name players.

You have **** for brains for basing a decision about a player on a computer game.

That's a rumor that has been around for a while but has never been confirmed by any top level manager. There was a show a while back and some lower league managers did admit using FM as part of the initial scouting process simply because they didn't have the resources to send out multiple scouts at once but they denied ever signing a player just based on a game. I remember the signing of Freddy Adu by Benfica was credited to FM even though many teams had been scouting him for quite a while, Lewandowski's signing by Dortmund was also credited to FM even though he was pretty well known around Europe while he was still just an average player in the game.

I honestly doubt any top teams use the FM database for scouting as they have their own multi-million pound scouting networks, and if I was the owner of a big club and found out they were using FM to find players after investing huge amounts of money into a scouting network I would be pissed and people would be getting sacked.
