i think a "vocal support" is the phrase you're looking for. i dont like to point fingers as its an endemic problem (would you say more so in scotland than england? we're not known for our black communities) in football but i do think in scotland when its outwith the OF it doesnt get reported as much as its not OF orientated (and therefore doesnt sell papers if i was feeling cynical )
