Could not agree more, he must be so thick skinned, would love to be drawn in a cup game V Stoke at L.R. to see the reception he gets, hope they go down with the lowest points tally in the history of the premier lg. I am totally amazed any chairman would employ this man, the best he's ever done was average, had Tony given him the full season we may well have gone down with a record low pts total. Come on Liverpool start the ball rolling!!
With our finishing in recent seasons we can't hope to nick one on the break, we'd take 38 games to get one on target.
I am sure mark hughes said that rangers would not have gone do in itwn, if he was given more time, he has famous quotes, after staying up at man city, he said as long as I am in charge rangers will not be in this position next year, no mark they were worse, he has a habit of putting his foot in it
We have a new leader in the 'Who can say the most repulsive thing about Mark Hughes' competition. You guys are so naive it's painful. The board are as much to blame for last seasons debacle as MH is, as far as I can tell he has admitted he made mistakes but he is not solely responsible however much you want to continue to treat him as our hate figure. It is never as black and white as people on this board try and paint it.
true but he is the main reason i feel. He made the purchases, failed to strengthen the team in the right areas (not easy but still the buck stops with the manager) and bought players without enough hunger. And, when they started playing pants, he didn't have the skills to motivate them or sort out the dressing room divides he'd helped create. Some of his team selection / formations were strange to say the least. I don't hate the guy at all but he did an appalling job for us and it's really irritating to now think he might be back to pinch on of our rare potential success stories in Hoillet. However i do agree that the team must take responsibility as well and TF should have been a bit more savvy - however all he did IMO was blindly back his manager to the hilt. Easy mistake when you're new to footy.
