is set to join Bury on a season-long loan. Should be good experience for him if he gets a good 20+ games under his belt. On a separate note, is Brady's loan until the end of 2011 or the end of the season? Mixed reports :S
Brady's loan is until January it's all on the hdm report: http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/HULL-CITY-Pearson-s-delight-double-swoop/story-12971383-detail/story.html it even includes a bit about Basso signing and Cullen's loan
Will be good to keep an eye on him through the course of the season to see whether he's bagging them in week in week out in the first team, not just the reserve team
i think hel score goals at that level if given service, wasnt surprised his goal last night involved barmby, most the time ive seen him looking sharp has been alonside him, ..
My only concern for him is that he'll get pushed about a bit in that league, he didn't impact at Bradford last season and that might have been partly why. Nothing a summer in the gym couldn't solve mind! And it turns out it was Gavan Holohan that set him up last night, not Barmby
hes always looked sharp alongside him too i dont know why, theres just something i like about him, i think its because when he scored v wigan, it was the 1st time in a year id seen a city striker get in the 6 yard box, and i refuse to let go of that excitement and optimism
Cullen's loan now confirmed on the OWS, but it's only a six month loan: http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2397544,00.html
I agree, he has something, I think he just lost his confidence in a massive way playing in the crap team that Pearson had to deal with at the start of last season.
