I see more of this is being made about him being a racist or making racist comments. I am getting sick and tired of all this **** now. If racial comments were made, then Mark Clattenburg should be removed from his role altogether. However, if it comes to light that Mark Clattenburg never made any racist comments, I would like to see those Chelsea players making the accusations fined heavily and banned for 8 matches.

My mate is a rugby ref who got asked to ref a higher league where they wear mic's and he forgot. When someone said something like why did you pull me up. He said its because he's ginger and he hates ginger's
Don't think he made the grade <laugh>

    i agree with this......

Former Football Association executive director David Davies said:
"It is quite beyond me why 90 minutes of conversations aren't always recorded. Referees' conversations should be available to fans who pay their wages, if anything, to be aware of what the referees themselves have to put up with. If the language is so bad, someone has to do something about improving it without sanitising the game. A point has been reached and in this generation, you have got to do something about it."

be great if we could hear recordings. players would show less dissent and more respect in fear of being heard and action taken against them.
plus who cares if the ref has abused players. racial abuse is a no no but inappropriate language, fair shout to him. the amount of abuse the ref gets from players when the ref was right is unreal and although they must remain professional, it will take its toll on the refs.
