If we appoint Appleton would indicate that the club really don't have a ****ing clue. Just his record Blackpool, Blackburn and Portsmouth speak for themselves.

Probably for the first time I'm in agreement with RR and think Pearson could be the one for us, but would not be disappointed with Monk if they can persuade him either.

Just read on OTIB that he was here previously

We do seem to love gambling with unproven managers

Are we recruiting a head coach or a manager? Cant see that Pearson or any other top manager will
want to work in this setup.

Don't need a middle man to get in players without a managers desire

Talking of excellence they need to sort the s--t phone system out. SL needs to reinstate the shareholders meetings to
add some accountability back to the supporters. They need to appoint a director of common sense and the bloody obvious
as it is a skill set this board lacks.

Am I on drugs or was Burt not director of football doing the same job
    as this Mark Ashton?

It all reminds me of the Golgafrinchans in The Hitcher's Guide.
Endless meetings of psychobabble that gives idiots a job but achieves absolutely nothing

A bit like W1A to me with lot's of corporate rubbish such as the 5 pillars and so on leading to no decisions and finally disappearing up your own backside without a trace. We need to make a statement to the supporters and the rest of the footballing world, including potential new players, that we will hire a top class manager who will change the entire philosophy of who Bristol City are and want to be in the future. Nothing less than this commitment will get us out of this mess moving forward and showing we mean business and that we are not prepared to be second best anymore.

Well done today lads - we're proud of this result but let's move on.
