Beckhams not really an idiot. Look at the Beckham brand and everything. A very clever business man who just sounds thick.
I think Balotelli sums up everything that is wrong in football. He has a ' I have talent and a **** load of money so I can do what ever I like' attitude. Loafs if not most players are like it to some degree...I guess when you have everything and have people sucking up to you 24/7 you believe your **** dont stink...Balotelli is probably on the extreme end along with others like Terry, lee Bowyer, Cole etc. Thought song was so lucky to escape a broken leg...looked deliberate to me.
Not sure about this - of all the footballers Balloteli does seem to have a desire to connect with his public, doing normal things like taking him mum shopping, trying to (as much as is feasible) mix his the locals in his own way. I don't mind the guy at all, and in some of the things he says he show a certain depth to his character. Some of these things paint him in a positive light over other proifessional sportemen, As a footballer he has issues. Were it not for Nasri and Clichy deserting the Arsenal ship for CIty I would have liked to have seen City win teh EPL this season because I think teams that are brave enough to have teh lieks of Balotelli show a certain cavalier attitude which appeals to a lot of us. I hope Ballotelli stays and is able to mark his time here as succesful.
