    Villa didn't just release him, he wouldn't agree the terms on the new deal they offered him, which were apparently over £20k a week, so I wouldn't expect £30k to be too far out.

    He's a decent player too, he was pretty much ever-present for the second half of the season and was one of their best players during the run-in.

    I agree that he's a decent player, but I'd want to sign him on something closer to his current deal.

    I don't think he's worth twice as much as Villa are playing him.

    I'd be happy with some quality freebies like these 2!

    RE: Albrightons wages, i guess it all depends what we think hes worth.

    The fact that he is free will raise his wages a little imo.

    Say Pearson would have paid maybe £2m for him, if we offer him £30k a week for 3 years on a free, his wages are going to be more like £20k a week.
