According to reports is to be sacked soon http://news.sky.com/story/1089967/mancini-to-be-fired-by-man-city-sky-sources
Man City lost the title this year because although they are bunch of talented individuals, for me, they rarely seem to perform as a TEAM....
Trying to buy success can work as Blackburn in the 90's and Man City recently have proved. But football is also a team game and that's why Man City have missed out this season. Samir Nasr's body language throughout the Cup Final was abysmal and along with several of his colleagues in sky blue, was in total contrast to the team spirit and effort that Wigan put in. Vincent Kompany excepted, he is an awesome defender and a credit to himself and his club. Shame the others did not join in. And looking at Man U and how they won the title this year; the side is nowhere near the quality of some of the Old Trafford great teams of the past, but they work so hard for each other and that is why they have triumphed again. And closer to home, we've seen lack of effort and poor team spirit at City for some time now and that's why we've got our just desserts with relegation. SO'D now has to rebuild not only the quality of player at City but the togetherness that is required for any long lasting success.
