Do you all want a United win then? I personally want a City win so my lass can't gloat anymore and I can laugh in her face!
From a QPR perspective, surely we want a United win leaving City 6 points behind. We want City players to be resigned to second spot and thinking about staying uninjured for their holidays when we play them on 13 May.
I want a controversial win for City, yellow for Young for spectacular dive when he was really tripped, 2 simulated penalties at the other end, 2-1 to City and United denied 97th minute equaliser when the ball was clearly bulging the back of the net. 'Not over the line' and SAF's nose registering boiling purple on the outrage-ometer.
If she laughs in your face, squirt on hers. For us to have any chance of getting something at City requires a loss tonight and the squad to implode over the next couple of weeks.
Has to be a United win, City out of it on the last day is the only chance we have of possibly getting a point there...
The result tonight is irrelevent from a QPR perspective. We wont be getting any points at Man City whatever side they put out to play us.
This. The crowd will be much quieter if they can't win the league and it will all be a bit of an anti-climax for them imo!
must be a united win from a QPR point of view. sobering thought though. According to the bookies Bolton are as likely to win against spurs as man u are tonight.
Bookies are rarely wrong. United's line up suggests they are playing for the draw which could be dangerous. Bolton have a good record against Spurs and I'm confident they'll get something.
From a neutral perspective city scoring is the best thing to happen as Utd now have to come out and atack a bit more, up to now they have been quite happy adopting chelseas 9-0-1 formation from last week!!! From an R's point of view its not good, but having said that i can't see any way we could live with them the way we play away from home.
Will probably stand more chance against a nervous city needing only a win and bottling it, but given the piss poor away performances I think you are right unfortunately.
