lol phew, not just me then!

 

I gave up - I cant do crosswords or anagrams let alone reverse anagrams

 

I struggle as well ,it takes a while but will get there in the end(think thats my life motto)

 

lol i'm usually quite good at word games, but anagrams have me baffled!

 

anything more than a crossword and I struggle, I prefer a friendly word

 

i play some word games on FB...but only with people who are crap at them lol

 

beating up illiterates will not get you to heaven Hornette check out recent jokes on the joke thread ,BB and I have had another joke off....(I said joke off lol)

Never been keen on word games - crosswords, scrabble etc

 

Being a teacher, I find that word games are an important part of my 'armoury' & I use them every day - scrabble, taboo, categories, crosswords, word mines, anagrams, rebus, hangman - I've even created a spreadsheet that produces sudokus using words. All really good learning aids. Funny really - not so long ago school inspectors frowned upon such frivolities in the classroom, nowadays you are revered if you utilise them

Primary school, so I'm a jack of all trades, master of none . Usually get 'saddled' with the upper stages, where attitude and hormones make life interesting!

 

Actually that is probably the age where teaching is best - before the kids have developed a "you will not teach me at any cost" attitiude and covering a wide range of subjects and issues is more interesting for you.
