People say the table doesn't lie - but it distorts - it is only a snapshot in time and it caught us in the lowest position we achieved all season and in years to come anyone looking back will think it was a struggling season against relegation and not the one we saw which was a flirtation with the play offs
I see Hessenthaler at Gillingham has said that his playing budget has been cut for next season after they failed to gain promotion. I still reckon that if we lose Malky to Norwich or West Ham or whatever he is one to think about - I think he is an up and coming manager and if he is used to dealing with tight budgets he would fit in well here
I'd take it as a foregone conclusion that the next manager will be one of Dyche, Hessenthaler and Gibbs. I just hope they have to wait a while.
Me too - again though - it is a Watford connexion that will be important - let's hope this is not an issue for a couple of years at least
I did get a minute or to with Mr Dyche , and asked if MM went would he want the job ,He said he still had a lot to learn about being a number 2!! He was enjoying the set up as it was and that he felt lucky and priviliged to be where he was!
Indeed Leo ,Comes across as a hard nut still!! I wouldnt want to cross him! I think he would command respect from young players!
I'm not surprised that Chelski got rid of Ancelotti - after all they won nothing this year and that is all they are about. If you go into the Prem now as a manager I wonder what your average "life" expectancy is?
Depends what your clubs target is , like martinez would have been charged with survival ,thus he suceeded ....just!
