    This.

Souness was a wrecking ball to all the good work Sir Bobby did, but Shepherd was pulling the strings on that front - he wanted discipline installed and that's the only possible explanation for the employment of Souness.

Joe Kinnear was simply the worst appointment this club have ever made as manager. <doh>... FFS, even when I look back now it seems hard to believe that it was only ill-health that got rid of him! <yikes>...

Souness for the reasons already stated. Total ruination of a team that was good enough to build a legacy on. Plus he is an arrogant cock!

    Of those listed Souness.

Worst of all, however, was Richard Dinnis.

Kinnear did alright, he took charge when we were midtable and left us in midtable. It was Hughton, Calderwood and Shearer who took us down, as well as shiftless mercenaries like Owen.

It's hard to choose between the other four - all ****, all ****s (as was Kinnear I suppose) - I'm going with Dalglish, just because he's the most high profile **** of the lot, and the scousers worship him even though he's **** and a twat.

Credit where credit is due. As soon as the fans started singing against him, he was off.

When he came we had Beardsley & Waddle playing up front. In no time they were both pushed out to the wings to play to the star strikers Reilly and Cunningham.

I remember thinking we were going down after the 2-1 loss at Man City that season. The football was awful the last half hour at Blackburn was quite frankly the worst half hour I've seen from a Premier League team. Not to mention the Liverpool battering, they should have won 10-1 that day.

Souness, I really, really despise that man for what he did to us.
