Managers. The powers that be have appointed some real humdingers in our time, but which one do you think has been the worst?

I'm just putting them in alphabetical order, not in any order of merit.

    Allardyce.
    Dalglish.
    Gullit.
    Kinnear.
    Souness.

We can thank Dalglish for Solano but not a huge amount else.

From memory, Allardyce. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.

Don't want to influence the voting by saying too much at this stage but I'm sure all of us have had some harsh words to say about some of them at one time or another.

All pretty much a bad bunch, disliked them for various reasons, I shall save my vote until later so I can consider it a bit more. :undecided:

Souness gets my vote, he started the trend of ripping the squad apart, he lost players in the dressing room, 'Bellamy' 'Bowyer Dyer punch up'

Souness. All the others were relative to our position at the time. At the time of Souness, we were a top 4/5 team and we got one of the worst managers in premier league history to take us over. Terrible

god what a terrible bunch was going to say Kinnear but no one thought he'd do a good job anyway where as some of the others we thought would take us on or at least maintain our position so i guess the disappointment was greater.

i'd have to plum fornot putting santon in the cm role when we're 3 down

    souness <ok>

Souness ruined everything Bobby created within 6 months.

It's got to be either Dalglish or Souness because they were the ones who, in double quick time, managed to set about destroying everything the respective managers before them had built. Allardyce, Gullit and Kinnear were terrible as well but we were already pretty **** when they took over - they just did nothing to change that.

Was hardly a punch up with Bowyer and Dyer, if it had been I think Dyer would have been carried off instead of walking off. He was an irritating little turd (decent player on his day granted) and he was going nowhere with the ball and Bowyer got into a good position for him to pass to him and he point blank refused and lost the ball.

Souness was a joke. He took what was a top 4-5 team and turned them into a team that finished 14th. He fell out with big personalities Bellamy, Robert an jenas and replaced them with garbage. I think we're only just recovering from his time in charge. Makes matters worse that he's now on sky talking how other teams have got there tactics wrong when he isn't good enough for management anyway

    Souness.

I'm well aware that Kinnear was a bad appointment and he should never have been even in the running for the long-term job, but look at his record for the season - we could have stayed up if not for his heart attack.

Souness, on the other hand, was to us what Southgate was to Boro. Except without the whole getting sacked when he's actually doing alright thing.

Can you think of a suitable prize to give him?

Kinnear, had a good set of players that should have been nowhere near relegation but his management set the wheels in motion.

If JK had a brain in his ear instead of a joke he'd have been dangerous.
