I was hoping (only for the entertainment value) that they would give OGS five seasons like they did with Fergie.
He's only been there what, 2 seasons so far?

The difference between Fergie and OGS is that one broke the mould, and the other one came from Molde.

That Even money on OGS to win the Sack Race is now looking very good.

OGS is walking a tightrope, Man U have just equalised but they look very dodgy defensively.

Fernandes must have a bet on a different manager to win the sack race.

Poch can go back to tidying up his garden (for a little while).

Ludicrous penalty by Lookman yesterday. Show pony. He hasn’t helped Parker’s job prospects at Fulham much either.

I was going to post that I thought this was harsh.
But looking at the Championship table, SWFC would only be 2 places higher than they are (21st instead of 23rd) even without the 6 point deduction.

    That is pretty crap.
If Charlton were 23rd or even 21st in League One right now I'd expect some to be calling for Bowyer to be sacked, and Sandgaard couldn't really be blamed if he listened to them.

Lookman reminded me of myself facing a chip shot over water onto the green.

Size up situation, decide exactly what to do, line up then lose confidence before striking the ball.

In my case, yet another ball in the water. In Lookman's case, public humiliation and danger to his boss's job.

I must admit (and I know some will disagree) that if Lookman has unwittingly helped to endanger Scott Parker's job, I have no problem with that.

Yet no manager gets fired over just one poor penalty.
If Parker gets the tin tack from Fulham its because he deserves it. It's been coming for quite a while.

Monk's overall record is shocking. The last game I attended before lockdown in March was Brentford v Wednesday, Brentford played some of the best football I have seen in years to win 5-0, they were helped by Wednesday being woeful.

Or the Frenchman taking off his shoes and socks to try to play the ball out of the water. It cost him The Open, Peter Alliss was not amused.

    Jean Van de Velde.

The biggest bottle job in the history of golf. His caddy should have been shot as well.

Golf can be cruel. Doug Sanders' missed a 2' putt on the last green for the Open, Greg Norman collapsed in a heap in the face of a Nick Faldo birdie barrage. LOnger ago (I used to read golf history) Archie Compston froze over a short putt and eventually hit it 12' past the hole to win a tournament (can't remember which one).

    Golf can be cruel.

I got beat at 1/33 in running for £800 a few years ago when that Aussie twat Adam Scott threw away a three shot lead in the Open coming down the back 9.

    1/33 <yikes>

If the betting is to be believed, Tony Pulis is the new manager of Sheffield Wednesday.
