I definitely think Monk will get it. 100% record and a rookie manager to boot cant ask for more than that. Just for info when Martinez won it with us we drew the first game the following month and when Rogers won in the Premiershipit we followed that with a 2-1 win against West Brom. So it seems its quite good luck for our managers
Don't really like these kind of awards,too often they are a poisoned chalice. Much prefer keeping under the radar and catching/surprising everyone by stealth and putting them to the sword. Monk must be in the running,however.
Chelsea have scored 11, Swansea have scored 6. 6 of Chelsea's 11 goals came today. Not that it makes any difference as they have still scored more than us.
I hope our game is not as open as that . We're creating chances and scoring without Bony who when he starts to find the target then we're in for another productive season . We have goal scorers in a lot of positions atm which is great when the main man is not producing the goods .
All I will say after yesterday performance is welcome back siggy and what an inspirational signing. He had so much time yesterday I thought he had h8s own ball on the field vision was sublime all game my mom by a mile even with dyer playing out of his skin
