http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2539492,00.html Powell has been nominated for November MOTM, he must be in with a good chance, won all his games, including the key clash vs Huddersfield, and Robinson has won MOTM already this season in August. Good to see Morrison recognised too.
everyone seems to be worried that Chris Powell will be jinxed if he wins manager of the month,i don't believe there is any problem in winning this award and to be nominated for the fourth month running means the team must be playing well and we should be very proud of the team and Chris Powell for the season so far.We are far the best team in this league and the goal is promotion and any award the team or management get should be cheered not jeered.Walsall will be a tough game but do you think they are looking forward to playing us ? We have the best defence, the best attack and we are 7(SEVEN) points clear, lets cheer the team on as always and applaud any award Chris Powell gets. COYR
I think it should be Karl Robinson. After all, if it wasn't for the pesky referees/bad luck, MK Dons would be 12 points clear of us... at least 12 points. Fair play to Bury. 100% November brings them into playoff contention.
Love it, IA. The Curse of Sky is no more... The Curse of Manager of the Month will be the next to go... Good shout about Bury - Ryan Who?
The awards are awarded. Probably better to get it out of the way now than later for the MOTM, well done to both and Morrison since that was probably more unexpected. http://www.cafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10267~2541539,00.html
Well done to both of them! It is tempting fate for tomorrow though, POTM and MOTM. Incidentally I'm going to the Walsall game tomorrow, the only other away game I've been to was the Stevenage game... which we lost. A lot of bad omens for the team to overcome!
Not so much worried by The Curse...as Manchester United targeting Morrison as a replacement for Vidic. Fanciful? Stranger things have happened.
Sheff Wed fans will be gutted - according to them, Morrison is one of the worst defenders they've ever seen. Shows what they know
If it helps, I'm also going, and I have a 100% record so far, home and away. I think the Semedo/Morrison swap worked out pretty well for both clubs, to be fair.
Yep , would totally want Morro instead of Jose right now - but who would have said that at the beginning of season ?
It's started I've already banged my head while getting something out of the garage tonight Prepare for 4 weeks of misery!
Is anyone going to start a match thread for tomorrow's game? You're right about the swap IA, not often that this happens, I'd guess -the two Owls at work can't believe we let him go and I'd imagine most of us feel the same way about Morrison. I'm at 100% as well, and I don't think I've ever been in that position after 19 games.
I was gonna start a match thread, but figured it wouldn't be any good and I wouldn't use it anyway. Honestly, I'm pretty happy we let him go. I'd say we're better off financially too.
