Ok guys, I don't post a lot but here goes.

Everyone was Bruce out Bruce out!!!!! we got all the excuses about him being a geordie and that seemed good enough for most. The results were bad and he was under a lot of pressure. He was never going to be accepted by the fans so he did have to go in the end. I don't believe he is a bad manager but he was the wrong fit for SAFC.

In MON we have a Sunderland fan who is a good manager. He was certainly not my first choice (neither was Bruce at the time). We are missing a player or 2. Certainly we need someone in CM how is big and powerful. We also need another CF so we can go 442 if needed.

What we need to do is stick with MON support the team and realise it takes some time to build a team. Were going to end up in the bottom half this year but we will stay up. I think next season top half is realistic and then we build from their. If we keep sacking managers we will be back in the championship before you know it.

My thoughts are we should go:

    .................Migg....................
    Bardo.. Killgallon Oshea.. Rose
    ........Catts........Larsson.........
    Sessegnon..Gardner.. Johnson
    ...............Fletcher..................

Ideally in Jan we will buy another CM who can replace Larsson in the middle and he can fight it out for a slot on the wing.

Time to get behind MON and stop being unrealistic. We need to win Tuesday and the only way we will do that is to support the team, if we get on their backs we will lose.

    unrealistic??

I dont think anyone expects us to walk the league, or even get into a European slot, but 3 wins in 9 months and all against 10 men just isnt on (and I am a MON in poster), its all about results, no results = bye bye manager 99% of the time.

Just hope if we do stick with him, he doesnt drag us down even more, but thats the beauty of the game, its all guess work and hindsight when it has all passed under the bridge.

Will we get relegated = its possible we will and possible we wont, No one can say we Will or we Wont as you just dont know whats around the corner, We HOPE beyond Hope we wont.

On Sunday Supplement this morning they discussed MON, and said only his reputation could possibly have kept him in his job.

    Never a truer word spoken.

Can we afford to gamble much longer on the fact that MON can turn it around without Robertson?

Well, ask me after Tuesday, when I will sit in the cold and support the lads AND the manager.

Yeah, I completely agree with the o p that we need a striker and a midfield power house in January. I think Bent will be available but expensive, but god knows who else will be available

We talk about strengthening but so will every other team around us. Tuesday is do or die for Martin O'Neill. If we lose he simply has to go, no more if or buts.

Agree with Rog on this one, lone strikers are no good for SAFC. As for the formation I'm not bothered what it is its about who is playing that formation and, lets be honest here our players are just not up to it. We can all see Seb and JMC are poor so drop them and change it around if we don't then it could be bye bye MON and bye bye PL at this rate.
