The average age of the side that finished last week's charity shield was 22 years. Zimmer frames at the ready! Just shows that as usual the ABUs don't have a ****ing clue what they're talking about.
man utd actually declined years ago, we havent won anything for years and will not for the remainder of our 3 years till we go bankrupt
We have the greatest under 26 team in the league. I'm using 26 as a benchmark for no reason at all. We probably have the best under 23 team aswell
The BBC website summed it up perfectly last week. "Ironic that Ashley young is the oldest player in a red shirt now"
The average age of the Man Utd side yesterday was one year less than the "Fergie's Fledglings" side of 1995/6.
Well most of that team won the league last season and reached the Champions League final......... The future looks bright! Just hope De Gea comes good and we sort out our central midfield, though I think Cleverly could play an inmportant role this season. We also have good young central midfielders coming through in Pogba and Morrison, though the later needs to sort out his attitude on and off the pitch.
The rest of our team is top quality and full of potential. Excellent Defence, good wingers, very good attackers.
