In a word Musty no. Here's why, this is a post of Dai's on another thread, errmmmmm I think you find that it has plenty to do with us because of all the other threads about Liverpool put on here by yourself and others hey ho if you cant take it then you know the answer dont you.. thats life my old mucca what goes around comes around and i have been waiting for this moment to come to rub your noses in it....deal with it... He's talking about Liverpool being above the Swans. Perhaps it's Dai that be told to leave it, he put that up in the 1st place.
To all proper Swans fans - enjoy today. It's days like this we desperately wanted to have when we were in Division 4.
Cant wait for todays game. Hope we do ourselves justice and play the football we all know we can play. I just hope that our players dont awe at the likes of Rooney and RVP. I am sure we wont as i believe we have moved on and now believe we deserve to be where we are. Good luck The Swans, do us proud yet again.
We have certainly moved on and are capable of winning today. Having said that Man U are capable of putting five past anyone in the League.
Just went down the club shop and managed to get a returned ticket for the man utd game !! woo hoo!! i could not get one for the Reading game though which is a bit of a blow as if have to go to the airport that day to pick up Mrs Norway, was thinking of catching the game on my way to gatwick.
Im hoping to do that PGF, im wondering if they are gonna ask for an address?? anyway thats easy i just give them my Norweigen address and make sure im wearing a reindeer Jumper and it should be ok.

Excellent first half. United have nothing we cannot beat. More tempo second half and we can win this going away.
Interesting idea that when our defense was being run ragged to put on two strikers! Great that we held on for a point
Pleased with a point. Very good 1st half, but yet again we seem to be a 1 half team. Sat back too much in the second and invited pressure. I thought Kemy was a big plus as was an improved performance from Dyer. I can see 7 points from the 3 festive games....2 wins coming up
We battled well and, over the full game, deserved a point. Great performances from our centre backs (joint MOM for them off Collymore) and Kemy was impressive earning the nod from Sky Sports. So why are we a one half team? Simple answer. Fitness levels: something I've been banging on about for a while. Evidence? In the first half we were full of energy and matched Manure all the way - Sky's summary was that we were arguably the better team at the break, which I agreed with. Cue the second half and at the 60th minute we started to fall away. Why? Our players didn't suddenly lose their talent and ability and United's players didn't suddenly get an injection of extra talent. What our team lost was half a yard of pace and, as the game went on, that became a yard and we were forced back. I ask again, why couldn't United press us like that in the first half? The answer is, that we matched their running and energy and when we did, our players used their ability to ask THEM some questions. Fair play, Tiendalli and Kemy have been out of the loop and lack match fitness but the others have been regulars. There is no excuse at this level for players being less fit than those in another team; they train every day and it is their job and responsibility to be able to play with energy and intensity for the full 90 minutes. Anything less is not acceptable, whatever the level of your ability. Am I carping? Absolutely not!!! The lads were great today and deserved their point. But you know, if we could have matched Manure's fitness levels, it could have been three. And here I have to pay all due respect to United and the standards they have set. We all know what a hugely talented squad they have but we also have to acknowledge their high levels of fitness and the shift that every single one of them puts in during a game. It is my belief that when we get our team playing for 90 minutes, we have more than enough skill to become a force at this level. So let's start to see it.
Very pleased Jack here, 1pt is cracking. I think the 2nd half was more to do with Man Utd going up through the gears. many teams would fail to cope under that pressure but our backline defended like lions today. first half our boys outplayed the best team in the land, can't really ask for more. Our strikers looked well off the pace against the quality of ManU's defence Moore and shekter did little. The need for a top drawer striker looks more pressing every game. The points we could have won if our finishing was better must be many. routs was brilliant out there and his trickery was used intelligently, he's looking on fire at the moment. vorm was solid and confident and I felt the defence looked better organised under his custodianship. Augestien's performance begs the question why Ki keeps getting the nod ahead of him. Midfield general today. Michu is god. Fantastic and hard won point today. Iawn as ****.
agree that the fitness levels drop, but we did well despite that to hang on against a team that likes scoring late in games. Repped.
Well i had amazing seats today, i thought we were indeed blowing a bit after 70mins and kemy was a dead man walking then, before that he was a sensation almost had ferrie bodde like qualities at times. chico and ash were like ****ing monsters at the back they hunted in packs and were just immense, tiandelli was superb but left the back door open a few times. vorm, well if tremmel had been in goals we would have lost, it really is that simple vorm=world class. a real hard fought point, of course we were holding on but it is against one of the best teams in the world so we have to remember that
Not sure if it's fitness, we are starting to stand off teams in patches through games! That of course invites pressure, thought we rode our luck on times, but we failed to give enough supply to Michu, something that definitely needs working on. Dyer I found frustrating, but at least we didn't lose today. If we can get our concentration levels up, then I'm sure we could win games like these, shame Leon was not on form, that reminds me, what the hell is old Bacon face going on about? Anyone seen his interview? Wants Williams banned, think he's losing his marbles!.................
I just posted a thread about it Dragon. what a total cnut of a bloke, hope he chokes to death on Laudrups wine, lost all respect for him and as far as im concerned Man uts can go and **** em'selves ..setting off fireworks inside the ground the ****ers !
A good result for little old swansea against the giants of football/soccer. Thank god the ref had a good game although he was chased around all game by the whyning manure players crying and hassling him for every little thing and rooneys pally brown nose chat with him end of 1st half and start of 2nd prob saying dont forget to give furgy time at end iff were not winning or he be off the xmas card list !. And to top it all off saf throwing a tizy over a good clearance from ash which could have killed rvp if it rebounded into our net off his big head it would be a different story wouldnt it ? good result for us team played well even with suprising subs and the ref was strong for once
