We could well get torn a new one, but its Man U away, so its not really one we would be expected to get anything from. All I ask for is more effort than we put in at Spurs (well, some effort then!). A brave 3-1 or 4-2 defeat where the players can take a lot of pride could even do us the world of good. Hopefully the management will have been watching how other teams have gone to OT and got results. Interesting to see if HR switches back to a 5-3-2, it would be a mistake in my eyes to try and match MU's tactics where others have highlighted its weaknesses.
Heard he was going to have an Op, so if that is before our game he won*t play. Also isn't Falcao just back from an ACL? He may not be ready or in form yet. We need to get at them - they could be as ungelled as we were at Spurs. 3 ponts there for the taking.
I fully expect a full on cave in by us and our average could be worse off by another 5 ⦠still i will be watching from my village bar. Therefore as i am mostly wrong expect a 0-2 for the half hoops i mean half stripes or will we see all white?
Food for thought ........... Man U are going to have three times as much pressure on them to win than we will have. Another good point is that they too have new players playing their first game for the club. Rio will certainly work in our favour. They have as much chance at gelling as oil and water ............... Come on you R'rssssssssss 3-0
Just keep putting them under pressure on the ball. If they start getting impatient or make a few wayward passes then the crowd will get on their back. In their faces and run your legs off lads.
Exactly.....press them high up the field, do not sit back and invite pressure, defend from the front the same way as Swans did and who knows we could have a repeat of Denis Bailey day......
Saw Falcao play at the against Arsenal in the Emirates Cup....for someone who was coming off an injury, his movement was amazing, was wathcing him closely and one minute he was linking up outside the box the next second he was inside the box outjumping the defence to score...and we thought how quick he moved to get in the box Trust me he's back, but hope he takes time to adjust to English football.
