At old trafford - with their new signings and the goal machine Falcao. Hopefully they dont "gel" too quickly.

 

Will wet myself if Sandro man marks Falcao and after 20mins nudges him so he falls down and does an Ale to his knee and they lose him for 6 months.

 

LOL....so cruel but funny.

I was looking forward to this match and did not think Utd were anything to fear so far this season but now i do not quite feel the same (although still looking forward to it) . What they lack at the back they more than make up for at the front.

Should be a great test for our team.

They're gonna do a Newcastle under Keagan, can't defend so we'll just score more than you. The irony is, it was Man U that piped them to the post that year. ("I'd just love it if we beat them" and all that.)

 

Looking forward to the game. 4 of us from here travelling over and staying the weekend in Manchester and meeting some family over there .

United now boast a forward line of Rooney, Van Persie and Falcao. That is some strike force. Our chances will depend on how our defence plays. They will have a tough job on their hands that day.

I hope Ashley Young makes an appearance. I'm dyeing to let him know what I think of him.

 

Interesting comment from Muelensteen yesterday which I'm sure many of you heard too.

" Don't expect anything from Falcao outside of the box. It is inside the box that he does the damage".

With our new beefed up defence and midfield, the trick will be to keep the ball out of our box. Simples!

As long as we improve on our last outings with Man U, I'll be happy. No red cards and no early, gifted goals for them please.

It would be fantastic if we could beat them!! It's got to happen some time and now seems as good a time as any, Falcao or not.

 

Assuming they are all fit. Isn't RVP crocked or is that disinformation?

 

We can only hope having Rio helps as he will have some input as to how they play. Not that it means we will be able to stop them necessarily.

 

Falcao, Di Maria, Mata, RVP and Rooney coming at us all at once.... Brrrrrrr (I've got chills at the thought). Plus they are looking to make their first statement of the season. Oh my!
That being said, we have our new back four being protected by The Beast. Bring it on!

 

With that line up, the phrase....."It's gonna get messy" springs to mind but to coin Mr Greaves......"It's a funny old game."

 

Lets hope we got there and take the game to them.

With their attacking players coming at us, we simply have to go up there and have a go. No point in sitting back and letting that lot come at us.....we'll be slaughtered!!
