Actually all good runs must come to an end. Coming off our excellent 3-0 away win at West Ham we will set up to to defend until the 89th minute when we will get a corner. Ball will be headed out to Merino who will hit a 25yard volley that will bounce off Ritchie, Gayle, Lascelles and Joselu who are all stood in offside positions and holding the goaly down but ruled to be not interfering with play, before it nestles in the back of the net. It will however be officially recorded as Tiote’s goal, the one he should have been posthumously awarded anyway.
Confidence must be proper low at the moment if we get beat off west ham then it's going to be even worse. If I was then the players looking at lining up against that team I would be thinking we are totally f***ed. City are playing insane football right now. Like Lord Jonjo said, we and everybody else expect to get beat by City so it's a free hit really. Get anything from the game and it's a bonus (and a miracle). Getting something off West Ham would be pretty handy though.

Yeah, like I said on the other thread I just hope it's Saudi and not a mish mash of wealth expecting a three year return. If the alleged quibbling over a few million is true it doesn't fill me with hope. Abu Dhabi just blasted into City and said, we're buying this, it was done. With the money they were dealing with there was no need to negotiate on the price of the club. It may be what i've heard is right and the deal's already done, with paperwork taking time to complete. We'll see.
