Just watched the game on you tube for the first time since that day and my did it bring back some memories. I still can't help thinking "what if" Dickov's goal missed or was saved, where we would be now if we had won that game, would Pulis stayed as manager, Taylor and Asaba would have been a good pairing for the then L1. Maybe even Scally found some Dubai backers and we would be in the Pampers league?. I did cheer myself up by watching the Wigan and Shrewsbury(which I missed ) games. how fast time goes 15 years ago
I watched the highlights again last year, can't bring myself to do it another time. Remember the feeling of end of that game like it was yesterday, horrendous feeling, particularly getting mocked by City fans on the way out even though they knew how lucky they'd been.
