Malky's statement makes the Internet trolls, anti-Tan conspiracy theorists, a few local 'journalists' and some of our high profile 'fans' look exactly what they are: ****e stirrers. 'He's been sacked ... he was asked to resign ..... I have been told ..... He's already gone .... blah blah blah..... 'All of these have appeared on messageboards and been accepted as 'truth' by some. Farcical hysteria and manipulation of a situation to make as much trouble for the club, and mainly Tan, as possible. Some of these people need to think occasionally - they have hyped up the situation to the detriment of the club. Our 'fans' should think before speaking (empty vessesl make most noise - but in this case they spout their rubbish all over the internet). They' are doing the club no favours at all with the lies and malicious gossip put around over the last week. I have sympathy with Bluebirds Unite etc. that have used this opportunity to attract support for their anti-Red / anti-Tan agenda, but don't want to belong to any group which contains the nutters and fools they clearly attract.
The owners of message boards get paid by the advertisers on their boards, usually paid by the number of hits so to get their posters angry pays. Anyone with more than 3 brain cells will know that the likes of AA and CC are only looking after their own interests whether that be selling books of getting paid to write in the Eggo.
It's one of the main reasons I have stuck to this board(and the old 606), full marks for sensational thread headings though, they are better than the redtops for it.
But what do you make of Sam's comments?! 'How can Vincent Tan, who owns the whole damn thing, interfere with something that belongs to him?!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24569376 To be honest, I agree with everything Sam said in this article. He gave a very balances point of view and admitted some things needed to be sorted out. Just on the Malky interview, I do wonder why agents feel the need to open their mouths.
