Yes I can see us not coughing up the money for N'Zgobia and taking risks on foreign players and we end up wasting money on players like Angeleri, Riveros and PdS who take up squad positions and wages yet we don't feel confident enough to use. The general rule is buy cheap, get cheap. Only very rarely can you get a quality player for cheap and sometimes you just need to stump up the cash. Difficult for us to say though as it's not our money but we were buying more expensive players under Keane, even teams like Stoke seem to be able to pay for more expensive players now too. I don't see where we are going wrong but as it stands I am concerned for next season.
There were rumours about this one months ago. I am with bonnybobbyparks on this. Steed is a tryer but there's no end product and he's as slow as me, (and believe me that's slow!).
