After a busy last few days with work and stuff this week, I made the ultimate concession today. Told the wife I'd forego the game to go shopping with her and her sister this afternoon. Now that's hit the spot with them both - smiles all round.

I wonder how long this warm glow of love I'm feeling from them will last. Probably until I get in the car about 11 o'clock in the morning.

Given we are playing tomorrow Sparkey you've made a big sacrifice!

Hope you aren't going into Cardiff as it will be busy with the rugby, I'm looking forward to that. Just waiting for Wales vs SA to start in the Dubai 7s. McArthur Glen might be a better option from the Porthcawl Riviera.

McArthur Glen it will defo be Remote, but they're also threatening me with Swansea. <yikes>

The Enterprise Park was mentioned and that's far too close to the Liberty for me - I might be tempted to defect........<laugh>

Be strong Sparkey. Don't be seduced by the dark side.

Cheshire Oaks is our equivalent. Nothing to distract me there. Saying that, my Mrs doesn't take me any more. She gets P'd off with me trudging around, head down, bumping into her when she stops. She'd rather go with our daughter. It only took about 10 years for her to get fed up with my presence when shopping.

Strange that, my good lady avoids taking me shopping like the plague. I insist on going once a year just to remind me how much I hate it and to remind her what a pain in the arsenal I am when trudging around those god forsaken places.

You hit the nail on the head remote, "bumping into her when she stops". Women shop with no organisation, rhyme nor reason. Blokes know what they want, go in get it and move on to something more important such as drinking, eating, footie or watching TV. Women roam around shops changing direction, stopping, starting, going left, going right, reversing. They should be made to wear indicator, brake and reversing lights. We may then have a clue where they are going.

Then again, they are just as bad when driving so all that kit would be bloody useless anyway.

Me sexist? Whatever makes you think that? <whistle>

PMSL BluefromBridgend. You've hit the nail on the head.

Don't get me started on those numpties ahead of you on an escalator, going either up or down, who get off and stand directly on the exit dithering as to which way to go as everyone else is catching up and can't chuffing move lol.

<laugh><laugh>.......I've been twigged, but I got away with it. They've both just gone out the door and left me here to guard the dog - no hard feelings, in fact we had a bit of a laugh about it.

That means apart for some boring paperwork to catch up on this afternoon that I would have tackled in the morning, I'll be on here to see how many Swansea lose by. :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:
