Making loans permanent...

    I thought that as far as the football authorities were concerned, although they are loans, due to them being for the whole season, they're classed as permanent signings which is why if any of those who are staying don't sign long term contracts until after 31st January, we won't be in breach of regulations.

    That may refer to the situation with Neuton, Ekstrand, Bia and Bottacchio - when their loans finish on 30/6, we have the option to sign them permanently, so would the club bother until nearer then? We have the same deal with Fanchone, but would be surprised if he stays - he appears to be this season's invisible man.

    Best thing for him probably. I wonder what sort of 'word' he will spread in France about Watford? Can't imagine that he has been too enamoured with his time here.

    He could do quite well there as they are very much middle of the table in the same league as Chatauroux.
