I think you'll find that there a quite a lot of people who subscribe to those things Garlic mentions, and to any conspiracy theory going. Any normal person ought to have a healthy scepticism towards government claims, but the lengths conspiracists go to is just insane.

I know mate. We're all government agents or being paid by NASA (for some bizarre reason). I took an interest in such things a few years ago because I was fascinated by how people could believe such things as flat-Earth, fake moon landings etc. I thought it was a lack of education and expected to see them come round when others explained it to them. I eventually realised that it's a psychological problem with most of them - a need to feel they have special knowledge and the rest of us are sheep who blindly follow where we're led. They're not interested in the truth - just small-minded people trying to feel important.

The man arrested has now been charged. His name is Paul Doyle, 53 from West Derby in Liverpool.
