Has signed for you, he's a good player, he did well for our reserves at United. I wish him all the best at your club.
the howling wolf>>>>>great signing love his stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqI2YStPK3E&feature=player_detailpage
I don't think Ole has signed this guy on a whim or as a favour (although they share an agent and are buddies ) I think he has had a look at our midfield and knows that this guy will vastly improve what we already have .
isaw it doesn't matter what colour anything is, if its got soul in the heart and the mind you be in a good place.....................don't tell the AAMB board I like 2 see them strictly come prancing around the papers for me entertainment.
Considering the number of goals and assists that Whitts has contributed this season I hope that Eikrem is not going to be his replacement - his (Eikrem's) goal ratio is one every 11 games (and that is in a lower league), so his free kicks and delivery cannot be as wonderful as some would try to make out.
We either need to trust Ole and hope his judgement proves right, or otherwise pack it in altogether as supporters. If he cocks it up for himself, he'll cock us up as well big time - don't think he'll do either. The guy needs to acquire players who fit his ideas and maybe he sees something in Eikrem that others in the game seemed to have missed.
I am afraid I would have sent Whitts out on loan and kept Mason. Nothing seems to worry him but it worries me...missing open goals...losing the ball in midfield...passing to the other side...not everyone will agree with me but a lot will. jck
I agree jck Whitts may have scored 2 league goals and provided a few (as he takes corners and free kicks) but he seems to be far too laid back for my liking , as if he isn't worried about losing his shirt His attitude could well change now
It's not a stats game though. Eikrems improved contribution and work rate might result in more goals elsewhere. Witts is too slow and lazy for a place in a pl midfield. He's not so brilliant that you can afford him as a luxury either IMO. He'll still have a part to play though.
As you say Stevo, he'll have a part to play. Bringing of the bench for 15 minutes will be enough. He's better than some of the players that have been brought off the bench this season and cost us points.
