From the Daily Star - an exclusive, apparently, but I sincerely hope it is just more crap from a crap paper (I won't dignify it with the prefix News). http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...to-axe-boss-Felix-Magath-at-end-of-the-season Honestly, if we sack him it really would be the lunatics running the asylum.
Although this, from a better source suggests not. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/03/felix-magath-fulham-job-safe
I wouldn't read too much into it Fulhaman; they also report that Bent will be the key to our survival! I think they got confused and spoke to a random bloke that looks like Felix. Felix Magath was appointed Fulham manager on 14 February Magath believes striker Darren Bent can still play a big role in Fuham's bid for Premier League survival despite making just 10 starts this season and not featuring since a 3-1 defeat at Cardiff on 8 March. This is such a non-story. We are not going to sack him before the end of the season. If we go down and Ali Mac leaves in the summer - well, then Magath might go as we try to rebuild. I don't think that scenario is unreasonable. I cannot wait to get a few of our supposed veterans out of the locker room in the summer. And yes, I am looking mainly at you Darren. To be honest, you move around so little it's hard not to.
Would you believe the Daily Star? Nonetheless it got the attention they wanted and provoked that very first question by Sarah Brookes in this afternoon's internal interview with Felix and a twitter response from her: "I would never usually use this forum to set something straight, but in this case I am compelled to. Nonsense!"
