Would other people be able to host one developed?

Would it even require a host?

 

My plan is anyone who I grant permission to could configure a game and set one up.
The person who set the game up could join in the game too because they wouldn't know who had what roles. The exception is if there are hidden roles. If you set up a game with hidden roles it wouldn't be fair to play.

First game I would probably sit out in case there were bugs so I could debug the game if needed without accidentally seeing peoples roles.

 

Would this programme provide stats too? Say, how many posts someone as made? Or the times they've been on online (eg 5pm to 8pm)?

Somewhat. I don't know how many stats I'll have for September but I'll try working it in.

 

As long as it'll allow you to still change yor vote.

Yes, although I'm considering having one of the settings when configuring a game to be a "vote cool down" period. So you have to wait x minutes after voting to change your vote.

I think that could eliminate some of the more annoying rapid vote changes some people practice that annoys everyone elsem

I try to prewrite as much of the nightly dialogue as I can to speed up the nighttime process. Can't do that when everyone is shifting around.

yeah... it proves quite difficult when you've one done then its useless and you have to write it from 9pm to 9:30 with ARSEHOLES who've never run any games like VALLEY shouting COME ON FFS

 

I don't really care about the voting shifts.

I think using a simple spreadsheet and a hard rule that votes get counted every 4 hours then every 2 then at 80:30 and 8:50 you can easily do it.

I just enter then into a spreadsheet then a pivot table spits out the result.

 

It could create an issue if its more than 5 minutes. one tactic is vote and create chaos then see who reacts. then change back.

you want someone to be ballsy like that. it can reveal a lot if they get the right target.

Not really. It's only the last vote that counts so as soon as you've seen them vote you've effectively ticked them off.

 

If someone votes early you'd have to go a long way back in the thread to find though.
